Here is a must have for anyone that likes to push hard on the loud pedal and enjoy the thrill of driving a Corvette. In case of BREAKAGE, it's nice to know the safety loops will minimize any damage. I have seen the shocks, glove compartment and battery box destroyed. An engine spinning at 3000 rpm will swing the 12 pound half shaft around 16 times a second. When something lets loose and the engine revs up, it will take you five seconds to shut the ignition off. Ouch! That's really going to hurt the billfold, not to mention your classic ride.      Has any one called me and let me know how my safety loops performed? Yes they have. I am pleased that all reported cases did not have any additional damage to their Corvettes. Including a 63 that broke universals (with grease zerts) at both ends of the half shaft and bent his trailing arm. He was relieved to see there was no body damage.
